Valentine’s Day Play

I love the versatility of a Waldorf Play Stand. Imagination can run wild with one of these-for me and my boys alike.

This Valentine’s Day set up was made with quite a few things I had around the house and toys we already had.

Introducing…Flour & Fleur. My boys’ Valentine’s Day pop up shop that sold baked goods and flowers to its customers.

Here are some components of this little set up!

  1. Waldorf Play-stand: Unfortunately, the company I bought this one from is no longer in business, but the one linked looks like a beautiful option!

  2. Play Kitchen: Ours is an IKEA Play Kitchen and Hape Refrigerator that I did a little makeover of a few years back.

  3. Silks: I used two small white play silks on top of the play stand.

  4. Cookie Tray: I just took off the top part and added some felt hearts on top.

  5. Cake and cake stand: Something I found in the Target Bullseye bins, but I’ve linked a similar one.

  6. Banner: This was one I’ve used at past birthday parties and just kept the red and pink ones.

  7. Ice Cream

  8. Fake Grass

  9. Fake Flowers

  10. Vase: I just grabbed a couple of cups from our kitchen.

  11. Signs: Also purchased from Target, but linked a similar sign.

And that’s pretty much it! My boys enjoyed baking cookies and serving them, picking flowers from their garden and placing them in the vase, and serving all their goods to their customers (me).
